Bank of America / Countrywide Makes $335 Million “Deal”

Here is the Consent Order from the Central District Court of California:
Countrywide Settles Discrimination Claim For $335M in Central District Court of California http://www.northcountrygazette.org/2011/12/21/countrywide_settles/#comments
Interesting how the headline reads “Countrywide Settles …” rather than Bank of America Settles …”
Trust and believe that the $335 million is going to secretly slip away to the California State Bar, California Attorney General’s Office, California Dept. of Real Estate and the Federal Trade Commission.
And also, please note that this happened AFTER Mitchell Stein was disbarred, then arrested at LAX on 12/18.
Just watch … applications will be routinely rejected and the so-called “monitor” will be blamed for letting down all those consumers that deserved restitution. In the meantime the above-stated CA agencies will be unjustly enriched at the expense of the consumers just like they were during the loan modification debacle.
Wonder why the “monitor” will be set up at the United States District Court, Central District of California. Who is this mysterious monitor?
