Journalist’s Civil Rights Complaint Names Bank of America, CA State Bar, CA Attorney General for Violating 1st Amendment Freedom

Our favorite muckraker, Erin Baldwin, is not taking any prisoners in her corrected Second Amended Complaint (“SAC”) for violations of her constitutional rights by officials acting under color of state law. It’s quite a story and everyone in California should be following it because it could quite possible be the case of the century in terms of horrendous violations of personal freedoms in the name of political greed and corruption….
Baldwin is currently seeking leave to file a Third Amended Complaint so that she can finish up her Claims for Relief. The retaliatory prosecution (which is at the heart of this Complaint) got ugly again over the past month and fighting that off monopolized all the time she should have been using to finish her Complaint. Wait and watch.

Do you want to know the worst part of this whole thing? Because Erin’s claims were the direct result of fraud and unlawful activity of the California State Bar, no attorney will touch this case with a ten-foot pole. It would be like committing career suicide. Believe me, she’s tried. We’d sure like to see Ms. Baldwin get support for her case. She’s requested a court-appointed attorney from the District Court, as well as a special prosecutor – but, well, you know …. nada. If you can help, leave a comment or send an anonymous email to email@example.com (not a typo). Peace.
